And it was hilarious. I don't tend to indulge in them because I do have them sitting next to "1984" and "Ulysses." My brain is telling me to read the "Big Guys" first. I hate when I am with a group of people and they are all taking about some life changing, world-renowned book that I have never read. But, this is my life. I am not a businesswoman. If I were then I would probably indulge more in lit that applies more easily to me and read the occasional "big" book when I had the time. But, alas, Ulysses continues to stare me in the face, and I'll be damned if it's going to get the best of me. But, back to Bridget. I loved the book because I kept thinking, "Oh girl, I know." Like when she would quit smoking and it would last about 6 hours and then she would smoke like 10 in a row. It was nice to relate to someone in the hear and now.
